Bugyal in the local language means “High Altitude Meadow” Dayara Bugyal is one of the beautiful place in Uttranchal. Situated at an elevation ranging from 10000 -12500 ft. This vast meadow is second to none in natural beauty in uttrakhand. During winter it provides excellent & one of the best ski slopes in India spread over an area of 28 sqkms. We cas see very good mountain ranges of Gangotri group.
The road to Dayara Bugyal branches off near Bhatwari, a place on Uttarkashi Gangotri road about 35 kms from Uttarkashi. Vehicles can go up to the village of Raithal from where one has to trek a distance of aprx. 9kms to reach Dayara.

► Equipments : All camping equipment like carry mats, tents, sleeping bag,& utensils will be provided by us.
► Luggage & Porters : Travel Light ! A Rucksack is what we suggest. But even duffle bag will do….But NO fancy trolley suitcases please! Members will carry only a small nap sack for keeping water, packed lunch, camera, extra layer of clothing etc. while trekking, please ensure that your sack has sturdy straps.
► Fitness : Most people in reasonably good health should not have any problems with most of the activities through the tour. But good conditioning will allow you to enjoy the walks at high altitude without being totally fatigued. We will be trekking for around 4-5 hours a day (on an average), where you’ll just be carrying your small day pack having necessary things.
►Past experience in trekking: Useful but not essential !
